Terms of Use
Last updated: 1 November 2026
These terms apply when you use Trips Planner (“the service”). By creating an account, signing in with Google, or continuing as a guest, you agree to them. Questions: hello@trips-planner.xyz.
The service
Trips Planner lets you plan trips by day, put places on a map, and plan together with others. It is free. We may add paid plans later; we will not charge you without your explicit agreement.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Guest accounts are temporary and are deleted after 30 days without activity. Save your account to keep your trips.
- You can delete your account at any time in your profile.
Your content
Trips, notes and photos you add stay yours. You give us permission to store and show them to you and to the people you share a trip with, only to run the service. When you invite people, they can see — and, as editors, change — the trip.
Acceptable use
- Don’t break the law or upload content that is illegal, hateful, or infringes others’ rights.
- Don’t attack, overload, scrape, or try to get around the security of the service.
- Don’t use the service to send spam or to collect other people’s data.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Places, maps and times
Place search, maps and categories come from third parties (OpenStreetMap, Wikidata, Google) and may be wrong or out of date. Check opening hours, bookings and transport times yourself before you travel.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is”, without guarantees that it will always be available or free of errors. Keep your own copy of anything important — “Download my data” in your profile helps.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost data, or travel costs resulting from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
Changes and ending
We may change these terms; significant changes will be announced on the site or by email. We may also stop the service, and will give reasonable notice so you can download your data. You can stop using the service at any time.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of your country of residence where consumer law requires it.
